Victor Valley College

Located in the southern part of Victorville, California is Victor Valley College. With a student population of around 12,000 students, Victor Valley only offers classes at one main campus. The college has over 600 staff and almost 150 full-time professors on the payroll to support students in their choice of around 40 academic majors.

The top three majors at Victor Valley include Business Management, Liberal Arts as well as Registered Nursing. Some of the other more popular major choices are: Criminal Justice, Music, Automotive Repair, Animation, Construction Technology, Agriculture, Natural Resources as well as Fire Science.

Victor Valley, like many other community colleges, offers associate degrees in all the major programs. In addition, distance learning is available to select universities for a small number of majors to allow students to earn Bachelor’s degrees. A small group of major programs are also available to be taken (and associate degree earned) entirely online.

Victor Valley College offers various distance education formats for students seeking to pursue a degree without regular campus attendance. Distance learning format include online courses, hybrid courses and web-enhanced classes. Online courses can be completed entirely online. Hybrid course combine online learning with occasional classroom attendance.
