University of Redlands

Located in Redlands, California, the University of Redlands is a private liberal arts institution offering a range of undergraduate and graduate programs. Originally established as a Baptist university in 1907, the University of Redlands has since become independent, and ended mandatory religious services in 1972. Although no longer officially a Baptist institution, the university still maintains informal ties with American Baptist Churches USA.

The university's College of Arts and Sciences offers traditional liberal arts degree programs at the undergraduate level. Graduate programs are also available in the fields of education, business, and communicative disorders. Undergraduate students can create customized degree programs through the university's Johnston Center for Integrative Studies.

The University of Redlands was ranked the 11th best university in the western region of the United States by U.S. News & World Report. Its master's degree programs were ranked 7th in the western region by the same publication. The university was also included in The Princeton Review's list of "The Best Colleges for Undergraduate Education" for several years in a row.
