University of Northwestern Ohio

The University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH) is a private university in Lima, Ohio, offering more than 60 programs in such areas of study as marketing, business, automotive technology, agriculture, medicine, travel, information technology, marketing, high performance motorsports, and more. The majority of programs are available entirely online.

UNOH is organized into five academic colleges: the College of Applied Technologies, the College of Occupational Professions, the College of Business, the College of Health Professions, and the Graduate College. Each college offers different levels of degree programs.

The College of Applied Technologies offers associate's degrees, certificates, and diplomas, which take anywhere from 36 weeks to 2 years to complete. Students of this college can choose among the following majors: Alternate Fuels Technology, HVAC/R Technology, Automotive Technology, High Performance Motorsports, Agricultural Equipment Technology, and Diesel Technology.

The College of Occupational Professions offers associate's degrees, certificates, and diplomas. Students can choose among the following majors: Office Management, Sports Marketing and Management, Word Processing, Agribusiness, Legal, Specialized Studies, Travel, and Information Technology.

The College of Business offers bachelor's and associate's degree programs. Some of the core required courses in this program must be taken in the fall quarter.

The College of Health Professions offers bachelor's and associate's degrees, as well as diplomas. The following majors are offered: Medical Assistant Technology, Health Care Administration, and Medical Office Management.

The Graduate College offers a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. This course can be taken on-campus, with classes meeting once a week, or online.

The University of Northwestern Ohio offers online degrees designed for working adults who are unable attend a campus based degree program. Some of the more popular online degrees at University of Northwestern Ohio include the Masters of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science, Associate of Applied Science and online diploma program.

UNOH is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, and is authorized by the Ohio Board of Regents.
