University of Michigan-Ann Arbor

Located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the University of Michigan (or just Michigan) is a public research university. This university has two satellite locations; one located in Dearborn and one located in Flint. Michigan is one of the oldest universities in the state and offers over 200 undergraduate degree programs, almost 100 Master’s degree programs, and over 100 doctoral degree programs.

Michigan offers many research programs as well as an extensive graduate degree program. Doctoral degrees are available in the following areas of study: social sciences, humanities and science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields. In addition, professional degrees are available in dentistry, law, social work, pharmacy and medicine.

The university's main campus is designed to accomodate nearly 11,000 people, which accounts for about 30% of the school's total student population. The campus is divided into Central Campus, North Campus and Hill Area (located inbetween Central Campus the University of Michigan Medical Center). Many students live on campus. Most upper-division and graduate students live in off campus housing.

For non-traditional students and those who are unable to attend campus full-time, the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor offers online degrees and courses that can be completed remotely from anywhere in the world.
