University of Central Florida

The University of Central Florida (UCF) is a public research school, a metro college experience in Orlando, Florida. UCF, the second-largest school in the U.S. based on enrollment, is a member of the State University System of Florida.

A wide variety of degrees are available – as many as 200 – through a large network of colleges and satellite campuses throughout the state. These areas of student include business, biology, hospitality management, accounting, nursing, psychology, elementary education and many others.

Nearly 60,000 students – approximately 51,000 undergrads and 8,000 graduate and professionals – receive their education at UCF. Students come from all 50 states and as many as 141 countries. There is opportunity to study abroad as well, with more than 40 programs in 21 countries.

U.S. News and World Report ranked UCF as No. 5 in its list of “Up and Coming” universities and the school was 97th in the magazine’s public universities rankings. In a list of Tier I schools, UCF was rated at 174th.

Through online@ucf students are able to pursue a degree entirely online. UCF now offers over 60 entirely online degrees, degree-completion, and certificate programs. UCF offers several hundred stand along online courses for students.
