Southern New Hampshire University

Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is a private nonprofit university located between Hooksett and Manchester, New Hampshire. It was originally established in 1933 as the New Hampshire School of Accounting and Secretarial Science by Harry A.B. Shapiro and his wife Gertrude Crockett Shapiro.

There are over 100 undergraduate programs, 40 graduate programs, and numbers certification programs available across SNHU's three academic schools. One of SNHU's more notable programs is its 3-year Honors Program for business majors. This program provides students with an integrated educational experience that culminates in a bachelor's degree in business in 3 years instead of four. Creative writing majors and justice studies majors can also pursue similar accelerated honors programs.

SNHU is regionally accredited by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (CIHE) of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Additionally, many of its programs and schools have received specialized accreditation.

SNHU offers over 90 accredited undergraduate degrees that can be completed entirely online. It also offers over 90 accredited graduate degrees that can be earned entirely online. Online undergraduate degrees are offered in various business and liberal arts disciplines. Online graduate degrees include more than 40 specialized MBA tracks. Online graduate degrees can be completed in just 15 months.

Unlike traditional graduate-level business and MBA programs, SNHU's online graduate and MBA programs do not require the GMAT or GRE. In addition to online undergraduate and graduate degrees, SNHU also offers a more than 20 online certificate programs designed to help students and aspiring professional develop the skills and knowledge for career success and advancement.
