Sofia University

Sofia University is a private, regionally accredited university offering programs in the field of transpersonal psychology. Sofia University was formerly the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (ITP), established in 1975.

Sofia University is organized into four academic schools: the School of Undergraduate Studies, the School of Computer Science, the Graduate School of Transpersonal Studies, and the Graduate School of Clinical and Spiritual Psychology. In its curriculum, Sofia University strives to take into account all aspects of the human experience: the emotional, physical, intellectual, social, creative, and spiritual. To help students further their own development, Sofia provides training in the Japanese martial art aikido to all students studying on campus.

Sofia University offers degree programs on campus, online, or as a hybrid combination of both. In this way, students can approach their education in the way that best fits their needs and learning style.
