Santa Clara University

Located in Santa Clara, California, Santa Clara University is a private Jesuit institution enrolling approximately 5,500 undergraduate and 3,300 graduate students. Originally established in 1851, it is the oldest university in California.

Santa Clara University is organized into six academic schools: the School of Engineering, the School of Law, the School of Education and Counseling Psychology, the School of Arts and Sciences, the Jesuit School of Theology, and the Leavey School of Business. Through these schools, students can pursue bachelor's degree, master's degree, and doctoral programs.

Santa Clara's sports programs compete as members of the West Coast Conference, at the NCAA Division I level. The university's basketball and soccer teams are particularly renowned and historically successful. Santa Clara's teams are called the Broncos.

Santa Clara University was ranked 2nd in U.S. News and World Report's list of the Best Master's Universities in the West, and 12th among Best Value Schools. The Leavey School of Business was ranked 101st in the country, with the part-time Master of Business Administration program ranked 50th in the country. Additionally, Bloomberg Businessweek ranked the undergraduate business program the 38th best in the United States.

Santa Clara offers an online Executive Certification Education Program that will prepare students to sit for the CFP Certification Examination. The university currently does not offer online degrees.
