San Francisco Art Institute

San Francisco Art Institute, also known as SFAI, is a modern arts university based in San Francisco, California. It opened over forty years ago, and it is the oldest university for art in the West, as well as one of the oldest in the country.

Its undergraduate and graduate programs include the Arts and Fine Arts, along with post-graduate certificates and doctorate degrees.

The Institute receives recognition by both the National Association of Schools of Art and Design and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and it is affiliated with the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design.
