Northwest Nazarene University

Located in Nampa, Idaho, Northwest Nazarene University (NWU) is a private, Christian, liberal arts college offering baccalaureate programs in 29 areas of study and graduate programs in 7 areas of study. NWU serves a student body of approximately 2,000 students, and has an acceptance rate of 69.7 percent.

NWU is organized into six distinct schools: Education & Social Work, Business & Economics, Academic Resources (Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences), Theology & Christian Ministries, and Health & Science.

Northwest Nazarene University is one of eight universities throughout the United States affiliated with the Church of the Nazarene. As such, it receives funding from the Nazarene churches in its region. Each Nazarene college is funded by its regional churches, and doesn't actively recruit students beyond its own educational region.

Online degrees and courses at Northwest Nazarene University are offered through NNU Online, a segment of NNU's College of Adult and Graduate Studies (CAGS). NNU Online offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees online. Online programs include College Core, the Adult and Professional Programs (APP), the Doctoral Degree in Education, and the recently launched Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies degree.

NNU Online accepts students from around the world. Anyone with an internet-enabled computer can now earn an accredited degree from NNU without ever stepping foot on campus. The online programs at NNU offers the same high quality of education found in NNU's campus programs. Advanced online learning software and systems making earning an online degree through NNU convenient, flexible and affordable.

Online degrees are available in business administration, christian ministry, educational leadership, liberal studies, missional leadership, nursing, pastoral ministry, spiritual formation, and family ministry.
