Northcentral University

Northcentral University (NCU) is a private distance education institution based in Prescott Valley, Arizona. Established in 1996, Northcentral is considered a Doctoral Research University, according to the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education.

Students of Northcentral may pursue bachelor's, master's, specialist, and doctoral degrees in the fields of education, business and technology management, behavioral and health sciences, and marriage and family therapy.

The Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE) awarded Northcentral's Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy (MAMFT) program five-year accreditation status in 2013. This program was the first of its kind to receive this accreditation.

Northcentral University has an arrangement with Fort Hays State University (located in Kansas), which ensures that Fort Hays' MBA credits can be transferred and applied towards Northcentral's Business PhD or DBA programs.
