La Sierra University

Located in Riverside, California, La Sierra University (LSU or La Sierra) is a Seventh-day Adventist institution offering degrees at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. LSU is regionally accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), as well as the Adventist Accrediting Association.

LSU is organized into four distinct schools: the School of Business, the School of Education, the School of Religion, and the College of Arts and Sciences. La Sierra University offers training in the sciences, business and management, applied and liberal arts, and religion. Students may also enroll in programs which fulfill requirements for teaching credentials. The highest degree offered at LSU is the Ed.D.

La Sierra University suffers from a low pass rate on the state certified public accountant (CPA) exam. Its first-time pass rate is a meager 5.3%, the worst in the state. LSU's overall pass rate is only 18%, earning it the low ranking of 296th (out of 298) in the state.

Through the LSU School of Education students have the ability to earn a graduate degree online. LSU's online programs have small class sizes, are entirely online, fully accredited and are supported by a knowledgeable and experienced faculty. Students are able to register for online classes four times a year. Best of all, students can earn their college degree without interrupting their career or busy lifestyle. Online degrees include the MA in Curriculum and Instruction and MA in Teaching. LSU will soon be launching a new online degree in business.
