Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences
Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences, more commonly known as KGI, is the Claremont Colleges system’s newest university and is based in Claremont, California. It specializes in post –baccalaureate programs.The university provides a variety of degrees and programs, especially the Postdoctoral Professional Masters in Bioscience Management, the Master of Bioscience, and the Post-baccalaureate Premedical Certificate Program. After graduating with a Master of Bioscience, students can continue on to receive a PhD in Applied Life Sciences from KGI. They can also attend the School of Pharmacy and receive one of the institution’s newest degrees, a Doctor in Pharmacy.
KGI has many skilled MBS alumni working at reputable companies, such as Life Technologies, Novartis, IMS Health, Gilead, Percepta Associates, Baxter, Campbell Allience, Allergan, Scientia Advisors, City of Hope, Amgen, L.E.K. Consulting, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Illumina, Genentech, Medimmune, Boehringer Ingelheim and Deloitte Consulting.
The graduating students at KGI often pursue careers in business development, clinical research, sales, and market research analysis, process and product development, and many other fields.
