Folsom Lake College

Folsom Lake College (FLC) is a public community college in Folsom, California. In addition to its main campus, FLC operates two outreach centers (the Rancho Cordova Center and the El Dorado Center in Placerville) and numerous off-site locations throughout the region. It was the 114th community college established in the state of California.

There are more than 30 associate's degree programs and 30 certification programs offered by Folsom Lake College. Students of the college have access to a comprehensive system of support and services, such as financial aid, computer centers, counseling, libraries, and tutoring.

Students at Folsom College can take advantage of a wide variety of distance education programs leading to a degree, certificate or diploma. FLC offers fully online classes, hybrid classes and televised instruction. Fully online classes are online, with the exception of orientations and exams which require campus attendance. Hybrid classes offer a mix of online and on-campus study. Televised instruction includes instructor broadcasts from the college's main campus in Folsom.
