Originally established in 1990 as the American Flyers College, Everglades University is a private, non-profit college in Boca Raton, Florida. The school offers a range of bachelor's and master's degrees, and is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.The American Flyers College was a for-profit learning institution before it was purchased in 1998 by the owners of the for-profit Keiser University, who turned it into a non-profit school. Thirteen years later, Everglades College Inc. (the owners of Everglades University) bought Keiser University and changed it to a non-profit school as well.
Everglades University is a regionally accredited not-for-profit, private university that offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs that prepare students to advance in their current or future fields of study. Everglades University combines small class sizes, innovative degree programs, and convenient scheduling to accommodate working students and adult learners. Undergraduate students take one class at a time and complete each class in just one month. Graduate students can complete just two classes within an eight week time period.
