California State University-San Marcos

California State University San Marcos, also called CSU San Marcos, is one of California State University’s 23 public ally owned and operated campuses, based in the residential town of San Marcos, California. It was added as the 20th school of the California State University system in 1989.

Over 60 undergraduate programs and 15 master’s programs are offered at the university, as well as one doctoral degree (Doctor of Education) and over 10 teaching licenses. The university is comprised of four colleges which cover several disciplines, including arts, sciences, education, business, mathematics, and health.

While many students study at the Colleges of Business Administration, Education, and Nursing, over half of the university’s attendees are part of the College of Arts and Sciences. Most students get their undergraduate studies in business, health sciences, social sciences, and applied sciences.
