California State University, Fullerton, known commonly as CSUF, is an all-inclusive, publicly owned and operated university based in Fullerton, California. Of the 23 California State University campuses, the university boasts the most students with over 38,000 enrolled, making it also one of the largest in California. Its graduate class is also one of the largest in the state and in the CSU system with over 5,000 students. Of the 240 or more degrees offered, the university’s undergraduate studies comprise 120, Master’s and Doctoral degrees comprise 121 – including Doctor of Nursing and Doctor of Education. No other school in California provides an emphasis in school nursing for its Master of Science in Nursing.

California State University in Fullerton aids Hispanics in receiving an education, and it is also named as an Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institution. The university is also recognized around the country for many programs, including arts and sciences, public and health services, and teaching education CSUF is acknowledged by Forbes as one of the country’s top 100 publically owned institutions. The U.S. News and World Report placed it as the top 23rd university in the Western region. It also shares the U.S. News and World Report’s ranking for top 6th publically operated university in the Western region with State Polytechnic University in Pomona and California State University in Chico.
