California Career College
Found in Canoga Park, California, California Career College, or CCC, offers students the training they need to earn a competitive salary in the growing field of nursing. Licensed instructors prepare students for a career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.Two programs are offered through CCC. Offered in a 12-month or 18-month program, the Vocational Nursing Program readies students to become nurses. Students are given the hands-on experience needed to make a clear decision which career path they would like to follow within the healthcare field. After completing the program, students are ready to become Licensed Vocational Nurses through the NCLEX-VN testing.
In addition, CCC has a certificate program in Intravenous Therapy. This program is geared towards students that are already Licensed Vocational Nurses and only takes 30 hours to complete. Skills learned in this program are essential for anyone in the nursing field.
Admission requirements include: students must be 18 years or older; students must have a high school degree or equivalent; anyone applying must physically able to handle working in the nursing environment; and students have to take and pass an entrance exam. All requirements can be obtained in the Admissions Office.
