Ashworth College is an online educational institution offering a wide range of career certificates and diplomas, as well as associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees. Because online programs offer a greater degree of scheduling flexibility, Ashworth's online programs can be started at any time, and from any location a student chooses.

Ashworth College offers thirty associate's degrees, eight bachelor's degrees, six graduate-level certificates, and ten master's degrees. The school also offers three high school programs, seventy career diplomas and certificates, and fifteen undergraduate certificates.

Ashworth's online learning system (Ashworth College Community)offers a unique community that provides students the opportunity to participate in online study groups, special interest clubs and other school organizations. Through the Ashworth College Community students can also connect with one another via email, online discussion threads, webinars and chat.

Ashworth College is accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council's (DETC) Accrediting Commission. DETC is recognized by the United States Department of Education (DOE) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) as a national accrediting agency. All of Ashworth's educational offerings are also authorized by the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission.

History
Ashworth College was founded in 2000 by the Professional Career Development Institute (PCDI). PCDI was founded in 1987 and has enrolled over 2 million students over the last two decades in its career training and high school programs.

Ashworth College was established in order bring to PCDI students the opportunity to earn a convenient, flexible 2-year associate's degree at the college level. In 2004, Ashworth College offered its first master's degree and in 2007 it brought to market its first bachelor's degree program.

In 2007, all PCDI became part of Ashworth College. Together these education institutions and departments offers several high school programs, career diplomas, associate degrees, undergraduate certificates, graduate certificates, bachelor's degrees, and master's degrees.
