Antioch University Santa Barbara (AUSB), a private liberal arts institution in California.

Returning and transferring students can earn Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees in a wide range of disciplines. These activities are offered in a variety of environments including on-campus classes and many classes held in the locations within the community.

Several prestigious graduate level programs are also offered. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Social Business, Strategic Leadership and Non-Profit Management advanced degree is the newest program available. This program launched in fall of 2013 and is designed for students who are concerned about community engagement and corporate responsibility.

The typical student at AUSB is an adult returning to school or someone who may be planning to make a career change. The average age for a student at AUSB is 35. As many as 70 percent of students attend the school with the help of financial aid. The faculty numbers more than 100 and the staff spends most of its time in the field and their chosen professions.

The seven major concentrations that are available in the BA completion program include Business Management and Leadership, Child Development and Education, Applied Psychology, Environmental Studies, Liberal Arts, Entrepreneurship and Communication and Media.

Antioch University now offers many of its bachelor's degree entirely online. These programs are almost exactly the same as the schools campus-based bachelor's degree programs, only they're online. Distance learning is also available via a combination online and campus-based learning.

Antioch University also has campuses in Yellow Springs, Ohio; Seattle, Washington; Keene, New Hampshire and Los Angeles, California. The Santa Barbara location in California has been in operation since 1977.
