Crime Laboratory Analyst Salary

The staring salary for crime lab analysts is usually determined by the company or organization they work for as well as their educational background. Most crime lab analysts earn between $28,000 and $50,000 a year. Analysts with more experience usually earn between $45,000 and $60,000 a year. Those who substantially more work experience can earn up to $75,000 a year. Analysts who supervise other employees and have moved into management positions can earn even more. There is a lot of competition for crime laboratory analyst jobs, but since the industry is expanding, there will be more opportunity for interested applicants to obtain employment in entry-level positions.
