Bailiff Salary

In May 2008, as reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. Department of Labor, the median annual salary for a bailiff was approximately $38,000. The middle 50 percent of all Bailiffs working in the United States earned between $27,000 and $52,000 a year. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $19,000 a year, and the highest 10 percent earned more than $62,000 a year. For bailifs employed by local and state government the median annual wage was $32,690 in 2008.

Salaries for bailiffs may vary depending on work experience, benefits package, location, and the company or organization they work for.
