Cuyamaca College

Cuyamaca Community College is a community college located in Rancho San Diego, California. It enrolls approximately 10,000 students, who come primarily from the San Diego area's eastern suburbs. Cuyamaca shares this district with the nearby Grossmont College. There are 59 associate's degree programs and 66 training certification programs available at Cuyamaca College. A large percentage of Cuyamaca's students end up transferring to San Diego State University or the University of California at San Diego to earn a baccalaureate degree.

Due to the area's growing community and increased educational needs, Cuyamaca College is currently undergoing construction and upgrading its facilities. When this project is finished, the college will be able to accommodate a student body of over 15,000, and will provide a more comprehensive array of degree and certification programs.
