College of the Canyons
Located in the Community College District in Santa Clarita is College of the Canyons. This two-year public community college offers around 70 Associates Degrees in Arts and Sciences as well as almost 90 certificate programs.College of the Canyons has programs through their Employee Training Institute as well as the Center for Applied Competitive Technologies that continue to both help with the efficiency of local businesses as well as keep employees trained in the most cutting edge technology and fields.
With just under 200 faculty members, the college also runs the University Center. Here you will find a number of advanced degrees offered through several different public and private universities, all housed at the college. This brings more degrees to the residents while eliminating a long commute to distant universities.
College of the Canyons offers online and hybrid classes for students who are unable to attend a full-time on campus degree program. Online classes are offered 100% online. Hybrid classes employ a combination of in classroom and online study.
