North Park University

Founded in 1891, North Park University is a four-year Evangelical university in Chicago, Illinois offering a range of bachelor's and master's degrees. The institution was founded by the Evangelical Covenant Church, whose only seminary is located on the university's campus. Over 3,000 students from throughout the country and the world attend North Park University.

There are eight academic colleges and schools under North Park's institutional umbrella: the Undergraduate College, Community Development, the North Park Theological Seminary, the School of Business & Nonprofit Management, the School of Nursing , the School of Adult Learning, the School of Education, and the School of Music.

North Park University is home to many student-led organizations, which are sponsored by the North Park Student Government Association (SGA). These include the North Branch literary magazine, the yearbook (called "The Cupola"), the student newspaper entitled The North Park Press, and a student-run coffee shop called "Java Haus."

Online Degrees at North Park University
North Park University offers fully-accredited undergraduate, graduate, ad seminary programs for adults entirely online. Online courses and degrees from North Park University are flexible, convenient, and offer the same high quality education and instruction as the university's more traditional campus based programs. In fact, all online programs are taught by the same professors who teach campus courses and employ the same coursework, tests, exams and curriculum.

Online interaction and discussions are a critical aspect of the online learning experience at North Park University. In fact, much of a students grade is based on virtual classroom discussion with other students and professors. Verbal participation allows instructors to gauge student engagement, contribution and understanding of course content. All interaction and discussion is facilitated by Moodle, a state-of-the-art online discussion board system.

Online learning at North Park is offered through the School of Adult Learning, North Park Theological Seminary and School of Business and Nonprofit Management. North Park University offers eight bachelor's degrees, five master's degrees (including and MBA) and ten graduate certificates that can be completed online.
