Mount San Jacinto College

Riverside County, California’s community college, Mt. San Jacinto College (also known as MSJC), has two campuses. The main campus is located in San Jacinto and referred to as the San Jacinto Campus. The Menifee Valley Campus is found in Menifee. Some classes are also offered at the smaller San Gorgonio Pass Campus in Banning as well as a couple smaller Temecula locations. There are many satellite locations found in local high schools as well as online classes available.

Like most community colleges, MSJC offers associate degrees in many subjects. The college also offers a program for completing the IGETC (Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum).

For high-achievers, MSJC offers an Honors Enrichment Program. Once meeting the admission requirements (minimum 3.3 GPA, instructor recommendations, 12 completed course units and of course a letter to the Advisory Committee), students will be offered accelerated classes. All Honors students are required to attend an Honors Seminar as well as complete four honors classes.

Both the San Jacinto and Menifee campuses provide Learning Resource Centers for all students to use. Students may walk in and receive free tutoring regardless of skill level. Anyone struggling with math or writing can also find the help they need in the Learning Resource Center.

Mt. San Jacinto offers a comprehensive selection of accredited courses that can be accessed anytime of the day (or night). Online courses are ideal for non-traditional students and busy working professionals who need a non-traditional degree option. Online courses at Mt. San Jacinto are flexible and convenient—and fit just about any schedule.
