Landscape Architect
Landscape architects design landscaping for private residences, mountain resorts, urban plazas, and coordinate the restoration of wetlands. Landscaping architects must create aesthetically beautiful environments as well as developing sustainable environments such as wetlands intended to protect wildlife.
Since it is relatively inexpensive to begin a landscaping business, 20 percent of landscape architects run their own business. However, there are landscaping firms that hire landscaping architects.
