Imperial Valley College

Imperial Valley College (IVC) is a college located in Imperial County, California, enrolling approximately 7,000 students each year. In addition to its main campus in Imperial, IVC also operates extended campuses in Brawley and El Centro.

IVC's mascot is the "Arabs," due to the college's desert location. This has been the subject of debate among the college's leadership and student body, and there have been intermittent conferences to determine whether it should be changed.

Via the distanced education program at Imperial Valley College students can pursue a degree online. IVC offers online course that flexible, accessible and affordable. The online degree programs at IVC are ideal or working adults and professionals who are unable to attend a traditional on campus college degree program.
