Gadsden State Community College

Gadsden State Community College is a two-year community college serving Cleburne, Calhoun, Etowah, Cherokee, and parts of St. Clair counties in the state of Alabama. The college's main campuses are located in Gadsden, Centre, and Anniston, Alabama. In all Gadsden State Community College operates four campuses and two centers: the Valley Street Campus, the East Broad Campus, the Ayers Campus, the Wallace Drive Campus, the Gadsden State Cherokee Center, and the McClellan Center.

The college is regionally accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and enrolls approximately 8,000 students. As a regionally accredited institution, Gadsden State Community College offers degree programs that can be transferred and applied toward a bachelor's degree at any other regionally accredited college or university – which accounts for most four-year colleges and universities in the United States that offers four-year bachelor degree program.

Gadsden State Community College also offers an eLearning program that allows students to work toward earning their associate's degree by completing online courses via the Internet. Online courses at Gadsden are designed to provide busy students the flexibility and convenience they need to complete their degree.
