Chattahoochee Valley Community College (CVCC) is a two-year higher education institution with its main campus in Phenix City, Alabama. The school serves the career training and higher education needs of students in several counties, including Russell, Barbour, Bullock, Macon and Lee. Students also come from the city Columbus and surrounding areas. Chattahoochee Valley Community College shares its Phenix City campus with Troy University.

Chattahoochee Valley Community College is composed of six academic departments which include Business and Social Science, Humanities, Math, Health Sciences, Computer Information & Technology and General Science. The college also has three career/technical departments which include Applied Technology, Health Sciences and Public Safety. CVCC offers academic and career-oriented Associate of Scienece (A.S.) and Associate of Applied Sciences (A.A.S.) in various fields of study and disciplines.

Chattahoochee Valley Community College (CVCC) is regionally accredited by the Commission on Colleges' Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Since the institution is regionally accredited, students can transfer their earned college credits to any other regionally accredited higher education institution in the United States – which includes most major four-year colleges and universities. CVCC's nursing program is professionally accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) previously knownn as the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC). All nursing programs are also approved by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
