Azusa Pacific University

Located near Los Angeles, California, Asuza Pacific University (APU) is a private, evangelical Christian university. APU has the most undergraduate students of any school in the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities, and is the second largest evangelical university in the country, in terms of student body size.

There are three colleges and seven schools within Asuza Pacific University, each with a distinct focus. APU is comprised of the Honors College, College of Music and the Arts, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, School of Adult and Professional Studies, School of Business and Management, School of Nursing, Leung School of Accounting, School of Behavioral and Applied Sciences, School of Education, and School of Theology.

APU offers a range of academic resources to its students and to the educational community at large. These resources include career services, an Honors Program, the Writing Center, the Center for Research in Science, the Center for Global Learning and Engagement, the Center for Academic Service Learning and Research, the Center for Research in Ethics and Values, the Noel Academy for Strengths-Based Leadership and Education, and the Institute of Faith Integration.

APU's online degree programs allows students to complete their courswork when and where it's most convenient for them—without sacrificing the quality associated with a traditional campus based program. Online degrees are offered in various areas of study, including information technology, global studies, art and design, business and management, education, nursing, and health sciences, among others.

Online degrees at Azusa Pacific University are offered through the Sakai online learning management system and learning environment. Accreditation
Azusa Pacific University is regionally accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). This means that any credits earned at Azusa are transferrable to any other regionally accredited college or university - which accounts for most four-year colleges and universities in the United States.

Many individual progams at Asuza Pacific University also hold specialized accreditation status. Additional accrediting organizations include the National Association of Schools of Music, National Association of School Psychologists, International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education, National Council for Accreditation fo Teacher Education, National League of Nursing, Association of Theological Schools and Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Sciences.
