American Institute of Massage Therapy
The American Institute of Massage Therapy (AIMT) is located in Santa Ana, California. Their mission is to promote health and wellness to the citizens of Santa Ana. They work toward this mission through community outreach. Students are encouraged to get involved in community outreach events, for the sake of the community members and for the experience it gives the students. Over the years, American Institute of Massage Therapy has become known for offering lower rates to citizens at community events like Race for the Cure, Ironman Triathlons and the San Diego International Triathlon.Through its community opportunities, the institute has developed relationships with many potential employers. This gives students an advantage when it comes to finding a career. The institute also offers career counseling, professional development and job placement assistance. Specialized workshops are available as well.
New programs start at the first part of each month. Class sizes are extremely small, so students are encouraged to apply as soon as they can to avoid being placed on the waiting list.
AIMT offers a large selection of classes and workshops, all dedicated to helping students learn the art and science of therapeutic massage. All programs are oriented toward helping student acquire the skills neeed for a successful career as a massage therapist.
